We are asking God for supernatural provision! Resources could mean money but it could also be the right couple, volunteers, properties, buildings, office space etc. Would you join in asking God to resource COMMUNITY OF FAITH, ORLANDO?

The city and the people we will serve. We are believing for a massive amount of people who currently don’t know God to come to know His love, grace and mercy.

MEET OUR PASTORS

There’s something special about finding someone you can trust, especially when it comes to leadership. Trusting not because you believe they’re perfect, but because you know they’re human. Honest, transparent, real humans. They understand life, because they’re in the middle of it. They know the reality of struggles, because they experience them too.

Friends would tell you that David & Adriana are those leaders. What started with a calling to ministry in the year 2008, grew over 9 years serving as youth pastors at Comunidad De Fe Ministries in MIami under the leadership of Apostle Herman Dávila, and has continued at COF Orlando. If you’ve known them during their journey, you know that one of the traits that the Acevedo's have always displayed has been faithfulness. Devoted to God, committed to friendships, and always inviting friends and strangers into their home.

You see, if you’ve known the Acevedo's for very long, you know that starting a church isn’t really an outrageous idea; it’s the natural progression of what God has been doing through their life for nearly a decade.

In the past year God has been putting a love and passion for the city of Orlando, Fl. This is the same passion as when they started in 2008. Hearing God's call along with the confirmation of elders and mentors: they are persuing to start a life-giving church in the city of Orlando, FL.

OUR CORE VALUES

The purpose of Community Of Faith is to share the hope of Jesus. Jesus is our message. We are Jesus people, not religious people. Methods will come and go, yet our message will remain the same.

Our heart is for ALL people. All people are loved by Jesus. We make no apologies for being specifically focused on reaching those far away from God. We desire to bring the broken home at all costs. We believe that our light is best seen in the night.

Generosity is about giving more than what is required. We see generosity as a privilege. We're generous with our time, talents and treasure. We go first in our giving. God has given richly towards us, it's our honor to give back to Him.

We are going to always do the best with what we have. We're on time, engaged and prepared. We don't do things half way. If we're gonna do it, it's to the best of our ability.

If you're too big to serve then you are too small to lead. We believe the greatest leadership is service to others. Every leader is a servant first. From the parking lot to the pulpit, everyone serves. Every role is different but they are all important. If you ain't helping, you ain't helping!

We are vocal with our honor, meaning we are not stingy with our words. We submit to leadership and are thankful for spiritual authority. We choose joyfully to submit to those God has placed over us. We honor and care for those God has placed under us.

Everything we do, we do it with passion. From our worship to our service we do it with Holy Spirit Energy. Passion drives us. Passion for Jesus. Passion for people. Passion for His church.

We are not called to change a city, but to serve it. Our purpose is to be God's hands and let Him work through us.
